Robert Brennand, Director

Robert Brennand is the founder and Director of R. P. Brennand and Associates.

Robert is an accomplished senior leader with extensive expertise in financial and corporate services management, risk management, compliance programs, and governance, within the not-for-profit, community, small/medium enterprise, and public sectors. This includes 16 years at AUSTRAC, enabling him to bring unique perspectives and experience to AML/CTF compliance.

Robert brings  significant experience across strategic management, financial operations, ICT, property, and human resource portfolios as a former Head of Finance/CFO, along with a proven ability to lead enterprise-wide transformation that aligns corporate support functions with commercial and community service objectives.

He is recognised for effective governance and compliance reform, building financial sustainability, and developing strong stakeholder relationships involving executive teams, boards, regulators, and community members.

Robert is a Chartered Accountant, Certified Practicing Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, and holds Cert IV in Government Investigations.
