Advice and Guidance

Tranche 2 obligations are new and untested for everyone. Firms face novel and untested challenges to manage their compliance.

Compliance Officer Functions

We undertake Compliance Officer duties on your behalf enabling you to focus on tour business with the confidence that your compliance obligations are being met. These duties cover:

  • Compliance activities for AML/CTF obligations according to both the AML/CTF Act and AML/CTF Rules.

  • Acting as a firm’s contact for AUSTRAC.

  • Acting as the staff contact for AML/CTF matters and reporting to AUSTRAC.

  • Regular reviews and reporting to senior management about how the firm is meeting its AML/CTF obligations.

  • Maintenance of internal policies, procedures, record keeping, and systems for AML/CTF compliance, along with ongoing staff training.

Ongoing Checks and Maintenance

We collaboratively work with you to conduct regular reviews that provide assurance your AML/ CTF policies and procedures are being complied with and reman relevant to your firm’s operations and risk environment.

Independent Reviews

Firms are required to conduct an Independent Review of their AML/CTF Programs every three years.
